Anibal Basualdo, CPA Chief Financial Officer
Anibal Basualdo serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Passage Health International LLC (PHI), bringing over 20 years of experience in accounting and finance. Throughout his career, he has held pivotal roles in multinational organizations, developing a deep expertise in financial management, compliance, and strategic planning.
Before joining PHI, Anibal served as the North American CFO for Prosegur, a leading global security firm headquartered in Spain, where he was instrumental in driving financial strategies and operational efficiencies across the region. Prior to that, he was the Regional Controller for Marsh McLennan, one of the world’s top insurance brokerage firms. Anibal also held the position of LATAM Regional Planning and Control Manager at G4S, a renowned British security multinational, where he streamlined financial processes and contributed to regional business growth. Earlier in his career, he spent nine years at AXA Assistance US, excelling in various finance and accounting roles.
Anibal’s expertise spans a broad range of financial disciplines, including accounting, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), technical accounting, compliance, internal audits, treasury, taxation, and system implementations. His leadership has been pivotal in ensuring robust financial operations and aligning financial processes with organizational goals.
At PHI, Anibal oversees the organization’s day-to-day accounting and financial operations. He is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting while maintaining rigorous internal controls to adhere to policies and procedures. His strategic vision and financial acumen enable PHI to achieve operational excellence and sustained growth.
Originally from Paraguay, Anibal earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting from The Catholic University. He is a Florida Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). Anibal also holds an MBA in Finance from Kansas State University and a master’s degree in accounting from Florida International University.
